Café Palestina CIC is a social enterprise opened in late 2017. We are a café, shop and events space in Kentish Town, North London. We aim to promote awareness of Palestine and Palestinian culture through food, music, workshops, exhibitions and our small library of books on Palestine . We support Camden-based human rights charity CADFA - Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association (UK Reg. 1112717). CADFA does extraordinary work linking people together to promote human rights in Palestine. To learn more & discover how you can help, visit CADFA.org.
Cafe Palestina hosts weekly supper-clubs with delicious Palestinian cuisine. Our cafe offers good Palestinian food, home made cakes and freshly ground coffee. We stock a wide range of hand-made & fair-trade products imported from Palestine, including handmade pottery, glassware & olivewood, organic soaps. We also sell speciality Palestinian foods and Cafe Palestina's own products.
We usually run a variety of community and entertainment events (including film & music nights, arts classes, a children's club for Arabic-speaking children and more). SInce the lockdown, these have been online where they are doing very well.
