Za'atar - Herb mix from Palestine - Yaffa
Za'atar is an aromatic herb mix, traditionally eaten with bread and olive oil as a snack, or cooked atop bread to make manakeesh.
Za'ater can also be used as part of a delicious dressing for salads, to season meat, fish or roasted vegetables.
The word Za'atar comes from the Arabic word for the herb which makes up the bulk of the mix
